Wild Zora only uses unfortified nutritional yeast in all of our products! Nutritional yeast is a deactivated yeast that adds a delicious cheesy, nutty, savory flavor to our products. It contains all nine essential amino acids, great protein and B vitamins. All inactive yeast contains a certain amount of glutamic acid, however this is not the same compound as MSG.
